Can my school really discriminate me because of a tattoo?
So I got transfered into an all new, more "white" school - everyones preppy, blonde hair, ie, Basically I don fit in. but anyways. I’m a sophmore (soon to be 16) and I have 5 tattoos - 3 dots inbetween my pointer/thumb finger, "Brown pride" on the inside of one wrist, and "white pride" on the other (half mexican half white), i have my bestfriends birth/death date tattooed on the inside of my write arm - but the prollem is, about 3 months ago, or 2 weeks before school, I got a big tattoo on the left side of my neck ; its blue and says "Red Killa" in cursive font. I had planned to get my GED so I wouldn’t even have to give a fxck what teachers or something thought, but turns out I can’t legally until i’m 16…but anyways one of my teachers saw it and reported me to the principal, who had me suspended for suspension of being in a gang, and when I came back, he basically told me i’d be on a watchlist for troublemakers when I never bothered anyone in the first place. can the school discriminate me like that for 1 damn tattoo?

well technically the school can do what ever the hell they want but it doesn’t meen its fair and your best friend died thats friken said but ya bak to the subject they can do wat ever they want but they shouldn’t they are probably just crazy preepy peoples

That is not discrimination. So far as I can determine, you are not being prevented from doing anything any of the other students do. it’s just that they will be "keeping an eye on you".
And that’s EASY to stop. Don;t do anything that they would punish you for. SHOW them the regardless of your looks, you are the nicest one in school. Respect ALL teachers (even the one that reportedyou), the principal, and all fellow students.
Cause them to learn respect for you by the way YOU act respectful of them.

thats fucking retarded. Im sick of these stupid preppy schools trying to make everyone conform to their standards because they are afraid of what’s different.
