IMDB rating: 5.60 Plot: When his longtime girlfriend Becky says no to marriage and the house he has built, architect Newton Davis takes it badly. The House-sitter (1992) 3 stars a good comedy that ultimately relies on the mass market predictability for ‘everything will be okay in the end’ to give it a rather contrived ending.
The Out of Towners (1999) 3 stars again relies heavily on the connection between Steve Martin and Goldie Hawn to carry though what is essentially a weak script. Still worth a watch.
