How does a straight devoted partner understand their bisexual/bi curious partner?
I am a very understanding person who loves their partner. It just seems as though they are Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. Dr. Jekyll being the perfect partner. Mr. Hyde with secret texts, photos and webcam sessions with tran sexual and trans genders. How do I compete with that?
Having secrets is no good. And you can’t blame that on your partner being bi!
I’m straight. I have a bisexual partner. He doesn’t hide anything from me, communication is sacred to us. We’re polyamorous, though, so if he wants to experiment with someone we both know and trust, I allow him to do that without negative consequences–therefore, he doesn’t need to hide anything from me, he can still get what he wants.
But anyway, it doesn’t matter what orientation your partner is. Would you accept secret texts, photos, and webcam sessions with someone who was your sex? We’re all people. Just because your partner is bi, that does NOT give him permission to sneak around!
Good luck! =D
